Business Building in the Digital Age: The Amazing Story of Casual Fridays Growth

Businesses that are growing and have team members in different physical locations have much different experiences that businesses did 5 years ago.

Today there are tools and ways to communicate online that didn't exist cost-effectively even 3 years ago!  The ability to communicate in real-time with remote teams makes scaling a business in other states a much more "doable" situation than it was just a few years back.  Of course, just because you can and just because tools exist doesn't mean every business does it well.  Communication for remote teams and team building, team synergies, etc, are all important factors to success.

Tyler J. Anderson breaks down the story of Casual Fridays and how they have scaled in 6 years from 2 to over 22 team members spread out across the United States, with most of that growth coming in an explosive time period the last two years.  Listeners will learn about what Tyler sees as keys, and the tools that Casual Friday's uses for success.

Covered in this Digital Divide Livecast interview:

  • Background and Growth story of Casual Fridays
  • Key for Scaling:  It's always about your team! Lessons learned along the way...

Why the Halftime theme Mike?

I’m an Indiana Hoosier native where basketball is the top sport. Every team heads to the locker room at halftime to evaluate the first half and create a updated plan for the second half. That plan includes adjustments based on reviewing what worked and what didn't. The “halftime” is a key review point where the game stops, the team pulls away to huddle in the locker room away from the fans, and they come out prepared and ready to succeed in the second half.

That’s what this podcast is all about, taking the time to pull away for a bit to evaluate, learn, and set some strategies for your business to succeed in the second half. Join me by subscribing and let me be your “business halftime” to help you find great success going forward!
